The following are questions we are regularly asked - if you cannot find an answer to your question please contact us.

What should I bring?

No special equipment is required but we do suggest that guests where comfortable shoes with non-marking soles. Tennis or training shoes are ideal. No heals or flip flops. Sunscreen and a hat are also recommended.

Do I need prior sailing experience?

No, our fully qualified, professional crew will guide you safely through your role aboard the yacht.

Is it physically exerting?

Sailing is a sport and we do encourage our guests to participate as much as possible. Our philosophy is that “the more you put in, the more you get out”. However if you wish to simply sit back and enjoy the ride – our crew will happily race the yacht for you.

Can I buy something to remember my experience?

We have a range of ONDECK Ocean Racing merchandise available at the ONDECK Headquarters and our online store

Are there drinks available?

During racing, soft drinks and water will be provided as part of your tour price. We are also happy to celebrate your racing experience with a complimentary rum punch when you finish!
